Opening Hours

The surgery is open at the following times

Reception Hours are 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday - we do not close for lunch unlike many other surgeries

If you have a serious medical emergency such as a collapse, acute shortness of breath or a heart attack, you should dial 999 immediately.

When We Are Closed

When the surgery is closed we are covered by the County Durham PCT.  From 1st August 2010 the number to call is 111  You will be signposted to the most appropriate service.

This may be the urgent care centre at Bishop Auckland Hospital or A&E at Darlington or Durham.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Staff Training Day

Please note that on the 3rd Wednesday of every month the surgery will be closed from 1pm for training purposes.  We have cover provided by calling  the 111 service for problems that cannot wait until we reopen the next morning.

Remember you can still order your prescriptions and book online appointments 24 hours a day seven days a week.
